How to use

Here are 10 easy steps to help guide you on your exploration of the PBS Learning Media webpage:


2) Scroll to the bottom of the page until you see the Browse PBS Learning Media Scroll Box: 

3) Select the Science link under Subjects:

4) Select Grade level:

5) Select Earth and Space Science &  Choose which content you want to cover and videos will be provided on the side:

6) Example: Choose Earth in the Universe under the Earth and Space Science tab:

7) Under Earth in the Universe choose the Solar Energy section. Once you click Solar Energy, you should see on your right the video "Why Do We Have Seasons?": 


8) Click on that Video and you shall see the launch activity:

9) After viewing the launch activity, the website provides teaching support materials to help plan your lesson:

10) There are also teaching tips to help guide your lesson planning:

  1. Good use of screencaps! The technology-impaired folks will surely appreciate that. However, maybe circling or pointing an arrow to some pictures would help the viewer look for what you're telling them to click (i.e. #3).

    1. Same comment here; those were very detailed directions on the navigation of the site! :) Definitely helpful to help navigate the site. To aid in clarity, you could also make the screenshots bigger on the blog or crop the image to focus in on a particular section of a page (e.g. #2).
